Fruit Baskets
As my blogging for 2015 comes to an end, I thought it is only fitting for me to give all my readers a last minute tip for a perfect Christmas gift…. You guest it… a FRUIT BASKET!
Whether you waited until the last minute, like I usually do, or you have to give a gift to someone unexpected, you can always count on fruit.
This is such a wonderful time of year, all my personal favourite fruits are in season. You can expect to find the following on our local shelves in store: Berries, cherries, melons, mangos, litchis, strawberries, apricots, nectarines, grapes, peaches, plums and much more. Not to mention our trustworthy fermented grape friend, VINO, and lovely fruit preserves.
Sure you can buy a Christmas gift, but making them can be a lot more fun. It’s a perfect gift, it’s fresh, healthy, plus throw in a bottle of wine and you can’t go wrong.
